New Delhi: Three doctors in Delhi, a doctor and a nurse in Mumbai have tested positive for coronavirus. Two of the cases are from Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital and one from Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Hospital, said sources on Wednesday. In Mumbai, a doctor and two nurses from two hospitals have tested positive.
One of the Safdarjung doctors, a third-year post-graduate student of the biochemistry department, has just returned from Dubai. The other contracted the infection from a patient.
Both doctors showed symptoms of COVID-19 and their test results came positive two days ago. They are now undergoing treatment at the hospital’s isolation ward.
