Bhubaneswar: Five new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the city in the last 24 hours.
Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Saturday said one case was a quarantine case, while four were local contacts.
Of the total cases, one each was reported from Chintamaniswar, Jharpada, Old Town and VSS Nagar. Six more patients have been cured of the disease in the last 24 hours.
A total of 31,832 people have been infected by the novel coronavirus in Bhubaneswar so far, of which 31,361 have recovered. While 246 have succumbed to the disease, there are 204 active cases at present.
