COVID-19: Five Odisha Dists Report Only 1 New Case Each, Nil In 3 Others

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive tally in Odisha went up to 3,26,596 on Monday with 363 new cases reported overnight.

Of the new cases reported from 27 districts, 208 are in quarantine and 155 are local contacts.

Among the districts, Sundergarh and Khurda districts reported the highest of 50 new cases each, while Koraput, Gajapati, Dhenkanal, Sonepur and Jagatsinghpur reported the lowest of 1 positive case each.

The cases in other districts are: Sambalpur (35), Puri (27), Angul (23), Cuttack (22), Balasore (20), Mayurbhanj (17), Jajpur (13), Jharsuguda (12), Keonjhar (12), Baragarh (11), Kendrapara (10), Balangir (8), Kalahandi (7), Bhadrak (7), Nuapada (7), Ganjam (5), Boudh (3), Nawarangpur (3), Malkangiri (2), and Nayagarh (2).

Besides, the state pool has 12 cases.

At present, Odisha has 3,057 active cases and 3,21,647 patients have recovered.
