Bhubaneswar: Pranaya Maharathy (64), brother ex-Odisha minister and MLA late Pradeep Maharathy, died due to COVID-19 infection at a private medical facility here on Sunday morning, said family sources.
Pranaya Maharathy had tested COVID-19 positive a few days ago and was admitted to the hospital. He passed away during treatment.
Last year in October, his brother Pradeep Maharathy had also succumbed to the deadly virus infection.
