Anandapur: In view of rising COVID-19 cases, the sarpanch of Belbahali panchayat of Anandapur block in Keonjhar district on Friday declared a four-day shutdown till August 10.
The decision was taken after the detection of nine COVID-19 patients in the area in the last two days.
All shops and business establishments will remain closed during this period, the sarpanch informed. Also, there will be intensive contact tracing during the period.
With two deaths and 722 recoveries, Keonjhar district has 266 active cases at present.
