Puri: As many as 3500 sevayats of Jagannath temple here and their families were distributed homoeopathic medicine at the end of the last day of two-day camp here on Friday.
Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) launched the third phase of the distribution of homoeopathic medicine to the sevayat families due to the prevalent COVID-19 pandemic situation in the town on Thursday. The homoeopathic medicine is approved by Ministry of Ayush.
On first day, the medicine was given to 1150 sevayats at the camp in Niladri Bhakta Nivas conference hall. The medicine was distributed among 1200 sevayat families for free in the camps organised in June and July in two phases.
Dr Umakanta Prusty and Dr Akshaya Kumar Prusty, Researchers at Regional Homeopathic Centre along with Dr Panchanan Pradhan of Shrimandir Sevayat Kalyan Clinic supervised the camp.
