Bhubaneswar: More educational institutes in Odisha capital continue to report new cases of COVID-19. The Indian Institute of Technology-Bhubaneswar (IIT) at Argul on the outskirts of the city has reported 10 cases.
Informing the media on Sunday, Khurda collector Sanat Kumar Mohanty said the administration had recently conducted RT-PCR test of 40 students in which eight students had tested positive while in the remaining test report received today, two students tested positive.
Stating that the infected students are being kept in a special isolation room of the institute, the collector said district administration has provided necessary medical assistance to the ailing students.
Earlier in the day, a private coaching centre reported 20 COVID-19 cases.
