Bhubaneswar: With the Capital City registering the highest daily spike in COVID-19 cases on Saturday, 4 more students of RD women’s University have tested positive for the disease.
According to sources, two of the four students are hostel boarders of the university. They had undergone COVID-19 test on Thursday.
As per the COVID-19 protocol of the state government, they have been told to remain in quarantine. As per the government order, hostels of all higher education institutions will be closed from April 19.
Earlier, four students and one lecturer of the university had tested positive for the COVID-19.
Bhubaneswar reported the highest daily COVID-19 caseload this year with 451 cases on Saturday while the active cases have gone up to 2315.
