New Delhi: A total of 7,554 fresh COVID-19 cases were found in India in the last 24 hours on Wednesday. The figure took the country’s COVID-19 tally to 4,29,38,599.
The active cases in India dropped to 85,680, according to the Union Health Ministry’s updated data on Wednesday.
The toll mounted to 5,14,246 with 223 new casualties, stated the data updated at 8 am.
It is for the 24 consecutive days, the daily COVID-19 cases have remained less than one lakh.
The active cases are 0.20 per cent of the total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has slightly improved to 98.60 per cent, said the ministry.
