New Delhi: India reported 6,148 fresh deaths due to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, raising the country’s cumulative toll to 359,676 on Thursday, according to data released by the Union Health Ministry.

The number of 24-hour fatalities in the country reported on Tuesday was 2219 and on Wednesday, the figure was 2123.
