New Delhi: India reported close to 3.5 lakh COVID-19 cases in a single day to hit another record on Saturday.
A total of 3,49,691 new cases were recorded in the last 24 hours, including 2,767 deaths and 2,17,113 discharges from the hospitals, according to Union Health Ministry.
India’s COVID-19 caseload was 1.69 crore with toll touching 1,92,311. The frightening rise in cases has overwhelmed the country’s hospitals as scarcity of medical oxygen leaves several patients gasping.
