New Delhi: In the fight against COVID-19, India has crossed a significant milestone. The national cumulative recovery rate has improved to 94.59 per cent with the recovery of nearly 92 lakh people so far, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
With an overnight recovery of over 39,000 people, the number of daily recoveries continued to outnumber the new daily cases for the 11th consecutive day on Wednesday.
With 26,567 fresh cases in 24 hours, the number of daily cases has also registered a dip of over 19 per cent from Tuesday. The new daily cases of COVID-19 have remained below the 50,000-mark for more than a month now.
In the last 24 hours, more than 10 lakh COVID samples were tested in the country. With this, the cumulative testing figure has reached close to 15 crore.
