Bhubaneswar: Khurda district continued to report maximum number of recoveries as 3896 more patients recovered from COVID-19 in the state and were being discharged from different hospitals on Tuesday.
There were 657 recovered cases from Khurda, followed by 442 from Cuttack, 226 from Balasore, 217 from Angul, 182 from Puri, 171 from Jagatsinghpur, 162 from Mayurbhanj, 153 from Jajpur, 151 from Jharsuguda, 126 from Koraput, 119 from Sundargarh, 115 from Nayagarh, 112 from Kendrapada, 110 from Sambalpur and 104 from Kalahandi, according to Health and Family Welfare department.
The number of recovered cases from other districts included 97 in Bargarh, 76 in Nabarangpur, 74 in Bhadrak, 72 in Malkangiri, 70 in Sonepur, 68 in Balangir, 55 in Keonjhar, 49 in Nuapada, 45 in Dhenkanal, 40 in Ganjam, 40 in Kandhamal, 25 in Rayagada, 20 in Boudh, 15 in Gajapati, 12 in Deogarh. Besides, there were 91 such cases from the State Pool
With the day’s figure, the total recovered cases in Odisha have gone up to 1,81,481 as the state reported 3,067 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday, recording a dip from the 3,235 cases on Monday.
