Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Sunday appointed nodal officers to take care of workers from different states, who could not travel back and are stuck at different places in Odisha, following the 21-day nationwide lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19.
The nodal officers will coordinate their stay and provide all necessary support so that they
are not put to difficulties, the notification issued by the General Administration Department added.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had earlier assured his counterparts that his government will provide all support to people from different states stranded in Odisha during the lockdown period.
