Bhubaneswar: Following reports that the supply of non-vegetarian items and livestock feed has been hampered in Odisha due to the complete lockdown, the state government on Thursday included veterinary services in the list of essential services.
Informing this at a press briefing here, chief spokesperson on COVID-19 Subroto Bagchi said that the district Fisheries officers, Chief District Veterinary Officers (CDVOs) and Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) are authorised to issue vehicle pass for those involved in the supply of milk, meat, egg, fish, livestock feed etc to ensure that these items reach the respective counters without further delay.
