Cuttack: The Orissa High Court on Sunday directed the state government to instruct all the SPs and Collectors to provide food, shelter, medical check-up to all migrant workers in their respective districts. These will also include those from other districts as well as those from outside Odisha.
The HC gave the directive after suo moto taking up a public interest litigation at the instance of the HC Registry for transportation, shelter and safety of migrant workers.
