COVID-19 Measure: Homeopathy Medicine Camp Opens For Jagannath Temple Servitors In Puri

Puri: Distribution of prophylactic medicine of homeopathy among the servitors of Jagannath Temple and their families was started at a health camp here on Tuesday.

The camp, organised by the Puri Homeopathic Research Institute, will continue at Niladri Bhakta Niwas till June 13. Around 2,200 servitors of the temple will be covered by the camp.

On the first day,  the homeopathic immune booster medicine was given to the servitors of Daitapati Nijog and their families. The camp will be opened for the Pratihari Nijog on June 10, Suar Mahasuar Nijog June 11, Pujapanda Nijog June 12 and Garabadu Nijog on June 13.

Besides, employees of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) will benefit from the camp. The medicine was distributed with approval of the Ministry of AYUSH.

Earlier, the SJTA had written to Regional Research Institute (homeopathy) to organize a health camp to distribute medicines to servitors as a precautionary measure against COVID-19 ahead of Rath Yatra.
