Cuttack: In a positive signal for the people of the city, daily new COVID-19 cases dropped below 100 on Monday when 93 persons tested positive for the disease.
Of the new cases detected in the areas under the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 24 were from institutional quarantine centres, 23 from home quarantine and 46 were local contacts.
With the day’s addition, the total COVID-19 positive cases in the city went up to 12,817. While 10,894 patients have already recovered, 54 have succumbed to the disease so far. There are 1869 active cases at present, according to CMC.
