Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha soared to 3,21,196 on Sunday with 393 new cases reported overnight.
Of the new cases reported from 28 districts, 229 are in quarantine and 164 are local contacts.
District wise, Khurda led the tally with 49 new cases, followed by Sundergarh (45), Mayurbhanj (32), Kalahandi (27), Cuttack (25), Balangir (23), Puri (18), Deogarh (17), Angul (15), Jharsuguda (12), Kendrapara (12), Nuapada (12), Balasore (11), Jagatsinghpur (11), Sambalpur (11), Bargarh (9), Bhadrak (9), Keonjhar (8), Koraput (7), Dhenkanal (6), Jajpur (6), Malkangiri (4), Nayagarh (4), Ganjam (3), Kandhamal (2), Rayagada (2), Gajapati (1) and Nawarangpur (1).
Besides, the state pool has 11 new cases.
At present, Odisha has 4,102 active cases and 3,15,207 patients have recovered.
