Balangir: The Odisha government on Friday said that it will commence COVID-19 testing at Bhima Bhoi Medical College & Hospital in Balangir from May 18.
At present the testing is being done at AIIMS and RMRC in Bhubaneswar, SCB in Cuttack, Ispat General Hospital in Rourkela, Institute of Life Sciences in Bhubaneswar, MKCG in Berhampur and VIMSAR.
The institute has decided to conduct 68 tests per day in the initial phase. Gradually, it will increase the capacity to 200 per day in the next week, informed Hospital Superintendent Dr. Mahendra Nayak.
