COVID-19: No Local Contact Case Reported In Bhubaneswar For 2nd Consecutive Day

Bhubaneswar: Three new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in the capital city in the last 24 hours.

All those cases are from quarantine — one each from Prasanti Vihar, Naharkanta and Chandrasekharpur, according to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).

It’s the second consecutive day that there no local contact case has been reported in Bhubaneswar.

On Sunday, the lone new coronavirus positive case was from quarantine in Patia area.

Meanwhile, six patients have been cured of the disease during the 24-hour period.
A total of 31,954 people have been infected by the virus in Bhubaneswar so far of whom 31,610 have recovered. While 248 have succumbed to the disease, there are 75 active cases at present.
