Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded 113 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours. Of the new cases detected in 19 districts, 67 are from quarantine and 46 are local contacts.
Sambalpur reported the highest of 18 cases, followed by Sundargarh (17), Nuapada (11), Angul (10), Cuttack (9), eight each in Bargarh and Khurda, Balangir (6), Balasore (4), three each in Bhadrak, Gajapati, Jajpur, and Jharsuguda, two each in Kalahandi, and Mayurbhanj, one each in Ganjam, Kendrapada, Puri and Rayagada.
Besides, the state pool has two positive cases.
At present, Odisha has 1,286 active cases while 3,31,535 patients have recovered.
