Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive tally in Odisha went up to 3,28,738 on Monday with 234 new cases reported overnight.
Of the new cases reported from 24 districts, 136 are in quarantine and 98 are local contacts.
Among the districts, Angul reported the highest of 36 new cases, while Sundergarh reported 28 cases.
Of the others, Khurda reported 25 cases, followed by Mayurbhanj (17), Jajpur (16), Jharsuguda (15), Cuttack (12), Balasore (10), Balangir (10), Kendrpara (10), Sambalpur (9), Keonjhar (8), Jagatsinghpur (5), Nayagarh (5), Ganjam (4), Nuapada (4),Deogarh (3), Bhadrak (3), Bargarh (2), Kalahandi (2), Kanndhamal (1), Koraput (1), Malkangiri (1) and Sonepur (1).
Besides, the state pool has six cases.
At present, Odisha has 2,753 active cases and 3,24,068 patients have recovered.
