COVID-19 Norm Violation: 1576 People & Shops Fined In Bhubaneswar In 24 Hours

Bhubaneswar: The Commisionerate Police has fined 1576 persons and shops for COVID-19 guidelines violations in the last 24 hours.

Taking to his official Twitter handle, DCP Bhubaneswar Umashankar Dash wrote: “Our aim is not to fine people rather strict action is being taken against Covid-19 guideline violators only for the sake of the common good.

He urged people to strictly follow the guidelines, which includes wearing masks and maintaining social distance, among others.
