Jharsuguda: Three private nursing homes in Odisha’s Jharsuguda town were sealed on Sunday for alleged violation of COVID-19 guidelines.
Briefing the media here, COVID magistrate, Jharsuguda, Golkah Bihari Mangaraj said that a surprise inspection was conducted by a special squad this morning following complaints about violation of COVID-19 norms in some private nursing homes in the town.
During the inspection, Agarwal Nursing Home, RK Multi-Care Home and Lakshya Care were found guilty of violating the norms set for containing the spread of the virus.
Acting on the directive of the district collector Saroj Samal, the squad later sealed the three nursing homes. Appropriate action will be taken against them, Mangaraj added.
