COVID-19: Nuapada Dist Leads In Recoveries In Odisha For 2nd Day

Bhubaneswar: Nuapada led the districts in Odisha in recovery of COVID-19 patients for the second day on Thursday.

Of the total 228 patients, who recovered and were discharged from hospitals on the day, 40 are from Nuapada.

As many as 34 patients from Bargarh district recovered, followed by 26 each from Khurda and Sundargarh, 22 from Kalahandi, 16 from Cuttack, 9 from Angul, 7 each from Ganjam and Mayurbhanj, 6 from Balasore and 5 each from Balangir and Jajpur, according to Health and Family Welfare department.

The recoveries from other districts are as follow:
3 each from Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Nabarangpur and Rayagada
2 each from Jharsuguda, Nayagarh, and Puri
1 from Jagatsinghpur
6 from State Pool
The total recovered cases in Odisha now stand at 3,38,890 while there are 4888 active cases with 879 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
