Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw nine persons testing positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday, which took the affected tally to 128.
The latest three cases were reported from Jajpur district, which now has 21 patients with one.having fully cured of the disease.
The I&PR department in a tweet identified them as a 18-year-old girl and 56-yesr-old man of Katikata containment area in Jajpur. Both are contacts of a previous positive case. And the third patient is a 65-year-old man with travel history’to Kolkata.
Earlier in the day, three cases were detected in Balasore and one each from Jharsuguda, Deogarh and Keonjhar.
With 39 having recovered and one death, the state now has 88 active cases.
