Bhubaneswar: The tally of COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha surged to 3,30,117 on Saturday with an overnight addition of 251 cases.
Of the new cases reported from 22 districts, 148 are in quarantine and 103 are local contacts.
Sambalpur topped the districts chart with 35 new cases, followed by Sundergarh (34), Angul (31), Nuapada (23), Bargarh (15), Jajpur (14), Khurda (14), Jharsuguda (13), Balangir (13), Puri (12), Balasore (8), Kendrapada (8), Koraput (5), Mayurbhanj (4), Cuttack (4), Ganjam (3), Boudh (3), Jagatsinghpur (2), Bhadrak (1), Nayagarh (1), and Sonepur (1).
Besides, the state pool has three cases.
At present, Odisha has 2,451 active cases and 3,25,733 patients have recovered.
