Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha surged to 3,29,306 on Wednesday with an overnight addition of 305 cases.
Of the new cases reported from 28 districts, 174 are from quarantine and 131 are local contacts.
Sambalpur and Sundargarh topped the district charts with 28 new cases, followed by Angul (26), Bargarh (25), Cuttack (23), Khurda (23), Mayurbhanj (19), Keonjhar (17), Balangir (16), Jajpur (16), Balasore (14), Kendrapada (10), Jagatsinghpur (9), Jharsuguda (8), Nayagarh (6), Nuapada (6), Kalahandi (5), Deogarh (4), Boudh (3), Sonepur (3), Bhadrak (2), Dhenkanal (2), Ganjam (1), Koraput (1), Kandhamal (1), Nawarangpur (1), Puri (1), and Rayagada (1).
Besides, the state pool has six cases.
At present, Odisha has 2,607 active cases and 3,24,775 patients have recovered.
