Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded 138 new COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours. Of the new cases detected in 24 districts, 81 are from quarantine and 57 are local contacts.
Cuttack reported the highest of 26 cases, followed by 15 each from Sundargarh and Nuapada, nine each from Puri and Sambalpur, Khurda (8), Bargarh (7), six each from Balasore and Jajpur, four each from Jharsuguda, Jagatsinghpur and Bhadrak, three each from Mayurbhanj, Angul, Ganjam and Keonjhar, two each from Sonepur, Deogarh and Gajapati, one each from Balangir, Boudh, Kalahandi, Malkangiri and Rayagada.
Besides, the state pool has two positive cases.
At present, Odisha has 1,281 active cases while 3,31,427 patients have recovered.
