Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha went up to 2,93,214 on Monday with the overnight addition of 1,389 new cases.
Among the new cases from all 30 districts, 798 are in quarantine and 591 are local contacts.
Despite a substantial fall in new cases, Khurda led the district tally with 142 cases. It was followed by Cuttack (101(, Sundargarh (100), Kendrapada (80), Bargarh (71), Balangir (70), Angul (69), Balasore (59), Nuapada (59), Puri (58), Mayurbhanj (55), Jagatsinghpur (53), Bhadrak (52), Keonjhar (49), Jajpur (46), Jharsuguda (35), Sonepur (35), Sambalpur (34), Kalahandi (27), Malkangiri (25), Nabarangpur (24), Nayagarh (22), Dhenkanal (20), Kandhamal (18), Koraput (13), Ganjam (11), Rayagada (10), Deogarh (9), Boudh (7) and Gajapati (4).
Apart from this, the state pool has 31 cases.
