COVID-19: Odisha Reports 178 New Cases

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 positive tally in Odisha went up to 3,33,127 on Saturday with 178 new cases reported overnight.

Of the new cases detected in 23 districts, 103 were from quarantine centres and 75 were local contacts.

Among the districts, Sundargarh reported the highest of 30 new cases, followed by Sambalpur (24), Jharsuguda (23), Puri (19), Nuapada (16), Nuapada (16), Bargarh (10), Balasore (7), Jajpur (7), Balangir (5), Khurda (5), Angul (4), Bhadrak (4), Cuttack (4), Koraput (3), Gajapati (3), Ganjam (3), Deogarh (2), Mayurbhanj (2), Rayagada (2), Sonepur (2), Kalahandi (1), and Malkangiri (1).

Besides, the state pool has 1 positive case.

At present, Odisha has 2,087 active cases while 3,29,088 patients have recovered.
