COVID-19: Odisha Reports 230 New Cases, Nil In 7 Districts

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha surged to 3,31,151 on Thursday with 230 new cases reported overnight.

However, the good news is that as many as 10 districts have recorded less than 10 cases and no cases were reported in 7 districts.

Of the new cases reported from 23 districts, 134 are in quarantine and 96 are local contacts.

Among the districts, Sundergarh reported the highest of 30 new cases, followed by Angul (24), Balangir (18), Bargarh (17), Jajpur (15), Sambalpur (15), Jharsuguda (14), Cuttack (12), Khurda (12), Mayurbhanj (11), Nuapada (11), Puri (10), Balasore (10), Kendrapada (6), Jagatsinghpur (5), Sonepur (4), Ganjam (4), Keonjhar (3), Bhadrak (2), Boudh (2), Kalahandi (1), Deogarh (1), and Nawarangpur (1).

Besides, the state pool has 2 cases.

At present, Odisha has 2,202 active cases and 3,27,008 patients have recovered.
