COVID-19: Odisha Reports 244 New Cases, Nil In 6 Districts

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha went up to 3,32,106 on Monday with 244 new cases reported overnight.

Of the new cases detected in 24 districts, 142 were from quarantine centres and 102 were local contacts.

Among the districts, Sambalpur reported the highest of 37 new cases, followed by Bargarh (23), Sundargarh (22), Balangir (19), Gajapati (19), Jharsuguda (19), Angul (15), Jajpur (10), Balasore (9), Khurda (9), Puri (8), Rayagada (8), Kandhamal (7), Keonjhar (7), Kendrapada (5), Cuttack (5), Mayurbhanj (5), Sonepur (4), Nuapada (4), Bhadrak (3), Deogarh (1), Jagatsinghpur (1), Kalahandi (1), and Malkangiri (1).

Besides, the state pool has 2 positive cases.

At present, Odisha has 2,118 active cases while 3,28,043 patients have recovered.
