COVID-19: Odisha Reports 245 New Cases, Nil In 7 Districts

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha surged to 3,31,396 on Friday with 245 new cases reported overnight.

Of the new cases reported from 23 districts, 141 are in quarantine and 104 are local contacts.

Among the districts, Balangir reported the highest of 40 new cases, followed by Sundergarh (29), Khurda (25), Angul (20), Balasore (16), Jharsuguda (16), Bargarh (13), Mayurbhanj (13), Jajpur (12), Keonjhar (10), Nuapada (7), Puri (6), Cuttack (5), Kendrapada (5), Malkangiri (4), Sonepur (4), Deogarh (3), Bhadrak (3), Sambalpur (3), Boudh (2), Nayagarh (2), Dhenkanal (1), and Rayagada (1).

Besides, the state pool has 5 cases.

At present, Odisha has 2,163 active cases and 3,27,290 patients have recovered.
