Bhubaneswar: The number of COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha went up to 3,24,089 on Monday with 332 new cases reported overnight.
Of the new cases reported from 27 districts, 189 are in quarantine and 143 are local contacts, according to data released by the I&PR Department.
Among the districts, Sundergarh registered the highest of 51 new cases, followed by Angul (35), Khurda (29), Cuttack (27), Mayurbhanj (22), Puri (21), Baragarh (15), Balasore (11), Jharsuguda (11), Nuapada (11), Sambalpur (11), Balangir (10), Keonjhar (10), Jajpur (9), Ganjam (8), Kendrapada (8), Jagatsighpur (7), Kalahandi (7), Bhadrak (5), Nabarangpur (3), Koraput (3), Rayagada (3), Deogarh (2), Gajapati (2), Nayagarh (2), Dhenkanal (1), and Sonepur (1).
Besides, the state pool has seven cases.
At present, Odisha has 3,156 active cases and 3,19,069 patients have recovered.
