COVID-19: Odisha Reports 335 New Cases, Single Digit Rise In 16 Dists

Bhubaneswar: The number of COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha went up to 3,23,364 on Saturday with 335 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.

Of the new cases reported from 27 districts, 193 are in quarantine and 142 are local contacts, according to data released by the I&PR Department.

Among the districts, Sundergarh registered the highest of 52 new cases, followed by Khurda (31), Mayurbhanj (29), Balasore (26), Angul (25), Jharsuguda (25), Cuttack (20), Puri (15), Keonjhar (14),  Balangir (11), Sambalpur (10), Jajpur (9), Bargarh (8), Bhadrak (8), Ganjam (7), Jagatsinghpur (7), Nuapada (7), Dhenkanal (5), Kendrapara (5), Nawarangpur (4), Kalahandi (2), Malkangiri (2), Rayagada (2), Boudh (1), Deogarh (1), Koraput (1), and Nayagarh (1).

Besides, the state pool has seven cases.

At present, Odisha has 3,231 active cases and 3,18,278 patients have recovered.
