Bhubaneswar: The tally of COVID-19 positive cases in Odisha went up to 3,24,796 on Wednesday with 407 new cases reported overnight.
Of the new cases reported from 26 out of 30 districts, 236 are quarantine and 171 are local contacts.
Among the districts, Sundargarh reported the highest of 62 new cases, followed by Angul (60), Khurda (46), Sambalpur (26), Cuttack (25), Mayurbhanj (24), Balangir (20), Puri (18), Bargarh (17), Balasore (14), Kendrapara (9), Jajpur (8), Nuapada (8), Jharsuguda (7), Ganjam (7), Koraput (7), Keonjhar (6), Gajapati (6), Jagatsinghpur (6), Kalahandi (6), Bhadrak (4), Malkangiri (4), Dhenkanal (2), Nayagarh (2), Boudh (1), and Kandhamal (1).
Besides this, the state pool has 11 cases.
At present, Odisha has 3,073 active cases and 3,19,850 patients have recovered.
