COVID-19: Odisha Reports 418 New Cases

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha rose to 3,18,725 on Monday with 418 new positive cases reported overnight.

Of the new cases reported from 28 districts, 241 are in quarantine and 177 are local contacts.

District wise, Sundargarh led the tally with 41 new cases, followed by Angul (34), Mayurbhanj (32), Cuttack (25), Khurda (23), Nuapada (23), Jajpur (20), Balsore (19), Kendrapara (19), Keonjhar (19), Rayagada (17), Sambalpur (17), Jagatsinghpur (16), Balangir (15), Jharsuguda (14), Kalahandi (13), Puri (13), Koraput (9), Bargarh (7), Nayagarh (7), Dhenkanal (7), Ganjam (7), Bhadrak (4), Malkangiri (3), Nabarangpur (3), Deogarh (2), Gajapati (2) and Kandhamal (2).

Besides, the state pool has 5 new cases.

At present, Odisha has 5,677 active cases and 3,11,256 patients have recovered.
