Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha soared to 3,20,017 on Thursday with 434 new cases reported overnight.
Of the new cases reported from 28 districts, 249 are in quarantine and 185 are local contacts.
District wise, Khurda led the tally with 54 new cases, followed by Angul (45), Sundergarh (41), Nuapada (30), Balangir (29), Cuttack (28), Mayurbhanj (27), Keonjhar (25), Baragarh (23), Puri (19), Jajpur (16), Balasore (10), Ganjam (9), Jagatsinghpur (9), Kalahandi (8), Kendrapara (8), Jharsuguda (7), Koraput (6), Bhadrak (8), Sambalpur (8), Boudh (3), Dhenkanal (2), Malkangiri (2), Nawarangpur (2), Deogarh (1), Nayagarh (1), Rayagada (1), and Sonepur (1).
Besides, the state pool has 11 new cases.
At present, Odisha has 4,815 active cases and 3,13, 394 patients have recovered.
