Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha soared to 3,19,583 on Wednesday with 480 new cases reported overnight.
Of the new cases reported from 28 districts, 276 are from quarantine and 204 are local contacts.
District wise, Khurda led the tally with 51 new cases, followed by Angul (41), Mayurbhanj (36), Cuttack (35), Sundergarh (31), Puri (31), Bargarh (30), Kalahandi (28), Jagatsinghpur (19), Balasore (19), Kendrapara (17), Jharsuguda (16), Nuapada (14), Sambalpur (14), Keonjhar (13), Kandhamal (11), Koraput (10), Malkangiri (8), Jajpur (7), Ganjam (7), Balangir (7), Nawarangpur (6), Nayagarh (4), Boudh (3), Deogarh (3), Dhenkanal (3), Rayagada (3), and Bhadrak (2).
Besides, the state pool has 11 new cases.
At present, Odisha has 5,046 active cases and 3,12,734 patients have recovered.
