Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported 6599 COVID-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours on Sunday. This was the fifth straight day the state has recorded more than 6000 cases. With this, the state’s total caseload soared to 4,14,056.
Khurda district recorded the highest number of infections with 958 cases followed by Nuapada (551) and Kalahandi (518).
Among the total new cases, 3827 are from quarantine while the remaining 2772 are local contact cases.
However, the number of active cases in the state has surged to 49,075.
