Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported the highest 8681 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours on Friday. Among them, 4948 are from quarantine while 3733 are local contacts.
It only yesterday that Odisha reported 6998 new cases, a sharp drop from Wednesday’s figure of 8386.
By virtue of this, the state’s total caseload surged to 4,44,194.
Khurda district reported the highest 1408 cases followed by Sundargarh (745) and Cuttack (570).
