Bhubaneswar: The number of new COVID-19 cases came down by nearly 600 on Saturday with 3053 cases reported overnight.
Of the new cases, 1,804 are from quarantine centres and 1,249 are local contacts.
Among the districts, Khurda led with 561 cases followed by Cuttack (256), Mayurbhanj (153), Jharsuguda (146), Keonjhar (133), Puri (127), Sambalpur (123), Kendrapada (115), Jajpur (110), Bargarh (98), Sundargarh (98), Balangir (95), Balasore (85), Sonepur (83), Jagatsinghpur (72), Bhadrak (70), Nayagarh (67), Angul (64), Malkangiri (62), Nuapada (56), Ganjam (52), Dhenkanal (51), Koraput (44), Kalahandi (41), Rayagada (36), Kandhamal (32), Boudh (28), Gajapati (18), Deogarh (16) and Nabarangpur (14).
Besides, the state pool has 147 cases.
Out of the 2,29,387 positive cases reported in Odisha so far, 34,314 are active cases and 1,94,128 patients have recovered.
