Bhubaneswar: A day after making a slew of announcements to keep the COVID-19 under check, the Special Relief Commissioner Pradeep Jena on Tuesday said sit-in dining will not be allowed in any hotel or restaurant from April 21.
The sit-in dining will be allowed only in case of inhouse/resident guests, but COVID guidelines have to be strictly adhered to, the SRC added.
The SRC said all such hotels/restaurants/street food joints can take online orders and deliver the same. No one should be allowed to eat at the spot.
The SRC had on Monday announced weekend shutdown in all urban areas across the state from April 24 along with night curfew. He had announced exemptions one of which included home delivery of food.
