Bhubaneswar: To ensure that there is uninterrupted power supply in hospitals and all other medical facilities, all the four power distribution utilities of Odisha – CESU, NESCO, WESCO and SOUTHCO and the Power Transmission Corporation of Odisha (OPTCL) have pressed 1917 executives and 10,146 non-executives into 24×7 emergency duty.
Further galvanising the transmission and distribution operation towards steady supply, breakdowns and power outages are being monitored centrally on real time basis and adequate man and materials being mobilised to the locations for speedy restoration of supply.
