COVID-19: Only 2 Odisha Districts Report Double-Digit New Cases

Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded 130 new COVID-19 infections in the last 24 hours, taking the positive tally to 3,34,430 on Monday.

Of the new cases detected in 23 districts, 76 are in quarantine and 54 are local contacts.

Sundargarh reported the highest of 32 new cases, followed by Sambalpur (14), Jharsuguda (9), seven each in Cuttack and Puri, six each in Balasore, Mayurbhanj and Nuapada, Kalahandi (5), four each in Jagatsinghpur and Khurda, three each in Angul, Bargarh, Balangir, Deogarh, Gajapati, Jajpur, and Nawarangour, two each in Kendrapada, and Keonjhar, one each in Bhadrak, Kandhamal, Rayagada, and Sonepur.

Besides, the state pool has one positive case.

At present, Odisha has 1,327 active cases while 3,31,144 patients have recovered.
