Bhubaneswar: Odisha recorded 87 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the I&PR Department informed on Thursday.
Of the new cases detected in 18 districts, 51 are from quarantine and 36 local contacts.
Sundargarh reported the highest of 26 cases, followed by Mayurbhanj (9), Puri (8), Khurda (7), six each from Cuttack and Sambalpur, four each in Ganjam and Rayagada, Jharsuguda (3), two each in Bargarh and Jajpur, one each in Balangir, Boudh, Deogarh, Gajapati, Jagatsinghpur, Keonjhar and Koraput.
Besides, the state pool has three cases.
At present, Odisha has 910 active cases while 3,32,499 patients have recovered.
