Bhubaneswar: The Odisha State Medical Corporation Ltd (OSMCL)has been providing logistic support to fight against the novel coronavirus ((COVID-19) through its 39 district warehouses and a central drug store in Bhubaneswar.
Briefing the media here on Monday, Managing Director of the corporation Yamini Sarangi said the corporation had begun its preparedness from January 27 and procured about 4000 test kits from Pune. Additional items include RNA Extraction kits, personal protective equipment (PPE) and VTMs.
She said adequate stocks of antibiotics, analgesics and anti-inflammatory etc. are available for five months. “We have also placed the order for another four months,” Sarangi added.
