Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha went up to 37,681 on Tuesday with 1,384 new positive cases reported from 28 districts overnight.
Of the new cases, 889 were from quarantine centres and 595 were local contact cases.
Ganjam led the tally with 288 cases, followed by Khurda (201), Cuttack (121), Sambalpur (82), Keonjhar (66), Sundargarh (64), Kandhamal (62), Dhenkanal (51), Koraput (49), Kalahandi (47), Bhadrak (40), Jajpur (39), Gajapati (38), Balasore (37), Malkangiri (34), Puri (34), Nayagarh (31), Mayurbhanj (28), Jagatsinghpur (20), Angul (14), Kendrapada (12), Bargarh (10), Balangir (5), Nuapada (3), Jharsuguda (3), Boudh (2), Nabarangpur (2) and Sonepur (1).
With 216 deaths and 23,073 recoveries, Odisha has 14,350 active cases at present.
